About the Item
Some infos about the author of this lamp: considered a master of lighting, Hans Agne Jakobsson trained between the design offices of General Motors and the studio of designer Carl Malmsten before opening his own furniture company. Over the course in his prolific career he shows a penchant for different forms and materials-including brass, iron, glass, fabric-as well as a deep understanding of the fundamentals of lighting engineering.
This lamp, model B52, as a base in brass from which it starts the arm of the lamp made entirely in Teak wood, the diffuser is in white painted aluminium.
This lamp is perfect for the office, for the reading corner or close to the bed.
Fully original, fully working, patina of time.
The light can be rewired for US standards upon request.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
