20th Century Swedish Pair of Brass Table Lamps, Leather Lights by Bergboms
About the Item
A vintage Mid-Century Modern Swedish pair of table lamps with a new white-yellow oval shade made of hand crafted polished brass, designed most likely by Alf Svensson & Yngve Sandström and produced by Bergboms in good condition. The stem of the Scandinavian lights is cover by hand woven, braided red leather, consisting its original switch cord, featuring a one light socket. Manufacturer label at the bottom. Model, Lot Nr. B-024, G-025. The wires have been renewed. Wear consistent with age and use, circa 1930 - 1950, Sweden, Scandinavia.
Measures: base: 8" diameter.
Shade: 10" height x 13" width x 10" diameter.
Bergboms, also called Bergbom & Co AB was a Swedish lighting manufacturer, founded in 1940 by the Swedish business entrepreneur Efraim Ljung. They are know for their elegant, sleek design of table, desk, wall, floor lamps and chandeliers.
