The Arc-en-Ciel lamp is a wonderful example of the postmodern lighting, designed by Andrea Belossi for Studio Alchimia. By Imitating a natural phenomenon it creates a spectacular rainbow in your home. The rainbow pattern is created by a prism that breaks the ray of the halogen bulb into spectral colors that are projected throughout the room. By turning the steel shades the position of the prism and therefore the position of the projection can be leveled up and down, a built-in dimmer allows to adjust light intensity.
