Art Deco vintage table lamp geometric like from plexiglass, nickel plated brass and leather in the style of Eckart Muthesius 1920s Germany. A wonderful Art Deco table lamp with a rectangular base from green leather while the lamp shade shows plexiglass and nickel plated brass as a geometric sculpture. One E 27 socket This table lamp could perfectly work with Contemporary designs as well as Traditional environment throughout its sleek and sophisticated chic. Good condition with signs of age and use like a small crack at the shade, but nothing what reduce the beautiful vibe and feel. approx. measures: Width 13.7 cm Depth 13.5 cm Height 68.5 cm Eckart Muthesius ( 1904 - 1989 ) German architect and interior designer 1931 Eckart Muthesius furnished the Palace for the Maharadscha of Indore as he met him 1929 in Oxford. After this meeting the Maharadscha of Indore ordered from Eckart Muthesius the interior for his palace. Eckart Muthesius used for the furnishing not only his own designs, as well the designs by Eileen Gray, Le Corbusier, Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann and Louis Sognot.
