About the Item
Art Nouveau table lamp by Le Verre Francais.
Elegant Art Nouveau-era abat-jour.
Formed by a bronze sculpture depicting maiden as the base and an acid-etched glass paste lampshade in warm tones.
The lampshade is acid etched with the signature " Le Verre Francais," while the base bears the signature " Le Lumiers de Nancy."
Le Verre Francais was a glassworks founded by Charles Schneider master glassmaker who was a student of Daum in Nancy. In the 1920s/30s it was the largest art glass factory in Europe.
The lamp is in perfect condition with no defects.
