Burnished brass and double brass pulls with dual sockets speaks to the quality of craftsmanship of this Asian-influence lamp. It is total chinoiserie in its silhouette with a beautiful motif on the base that resembles characters from the Korean alphabet. The lamp is reminiscent of James Mont mid-century style and has a beautiful patina. This piece would be perfect as an occasional lamp in a study or in a foyer on a table or chest. The maker is unknown to us. This lamp was acquired at an estate sale auction.
