His culture appropriates the most refined techniques of the island's glassmaking tradition. More than fifty years of association with this material have earned him great experience, so much so that it pushed him to turn his attention to modern design. His glasses were chosen to be exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and at the Galleries Difference in Paris. The designer is known for his mastery of Murano glass. He is the creator of some refined floor and pendant lamps, particularly for Mazzega. His pieces are renowned for their original and timeless curves. Biography Carlo Nason was born in Italy in 1935. He was born into a family with a passion for Murano glass. He followed in their footsteps and was naturally interested in this splendid material. Particularly curious, the "modern design" attracted his attention. He mixed different techniques to create original and innovative pieces. Over the course of his career he has collaborated with important companies. In the 70s and 80s he chose Mazzega to develop his collection. Carlo Nason is considered a point of reference for Italian design. His pieces are particularly sought after, as they are not only original but also of the highest quality.
