About the Item
Ceramic urn mounted lamps with braided reed
Offered for sale is a pair of late 20th-century ceramic urns with loop handles that have been mounted as table lamps. The urn-form vessels are wrapped in braided and woven reed netting. The tops of the urns have been fitted with wood caps to support the light fittings. The original burlap-covered shades are available but do show vintage wear. The lamps are wired and in working condition.
