About the Item
Those who know vintage Murano lighting will recognize the blue that Barovier & Toso did so well in the 1950s. It was an ethereal blue of many layers. It had just a touch of aqua and a lot of baby blue. This glass has been blown with a lot of 24KT gold throughout - no skimping on the gold here!
These lamps are just breathtaking in person! The scale is perfect - the lamps are very imposing. There are touches of whimsey and style in the original design that have been captured here perfectly.
Blown exclusively for Swank Lighting in Murano, Italy, we just received these in limited number. Traditional styling a la Barovier & Toso. They stand 29 inches to the top of the socket.
