Cobra table lamp by Gabriele D’Ali for Francesconi, 1968

About the Item

A large table lamp, model Cobra, designed by Gabriele D’Ali in 1968. It was produced by lighting manufacturer Francesconi in Brescia, northern Italy, in the early 1970s. This lamp was part of a new lighting series realized by the owner, Enzo Francesconi. The series was called Linea E, and it featured modern lighting by important designers such as Umberto Riva, Francesco Buzzi, Claudio Dini and Toni Zuccheri. This model, called Cobra, was made in two different sizes: a table lamp and a floor lamp. The lamp is very adjustable and can be directed in multiple directions. The overall condition is very good with minor sings of use. It comes with original electric components. The lamp is fitted with a EU plug and E27 socket. Literature: Domus N.487, June 1970, page 91
