Curved Table Lamp Sculpture, Handcrafted in Ebonized White Oak with Walnut Base
About the Item
A table lamp that is also a sculpture will draw attention to a corner in your living room. It will bring new life to your dining room while setting a cozy mood. The light ash wood has interesting, bold grain. The base is a beautiful piece of dark walnut, that contrasts with the curvilinear form of the lamp.
Our Bent Table Lamp is the eye-catching piece missing from your living room. An accent light with a unique flair. Bold in ash, ebonized white oak or walnut. The curvilinear form is bent lamination, made of five thin layers of wood glued together. A striking and strong piece with a light, wonderful feel.
The twisted cloth cord is a statement on its own weaving through the curved form. The cord is a two strand twisted high quality cloth cord in a gunmetal gray.
The lamp is accented with brass components.
All woods are finished with a wiping varnish that deepens the wood and protects it.
The shade is offered in a choice of Japanese kozo mulberry papers. Cream colored with natural mulberry bark chips and fibers or strands of beautiful silky fiber on an off-white paper.
Wired for US 110 volt plug. There is a toggle switch on the cord. Comes with a 60 watt equivalent led bulb. Socket fits a candelabra type bulb.

Geoff McKonly Furniture
Geoff McKonly Furniture is a studio in Southampton, Massachusetts designing and producing collection pieces as well as custom furniture since 2014. Each work Geoff creates is a composition of color, shape, and form that exists to enhance your life as well as provide a function. Geoff’s design and craft principles draw heavily on his training in fine art photography, creating furniture as he would compose a photograph, holding your interest and guiding your eye throughout a design. Similarly, from his two decades of experience building wooden boats, Geoff embraces the use of curvature and trusting his trained eye as he builds furniture. In his pieces, Geoff strives for the interweaving of balance and connection. Balance is the thickness of the back of a chair as it becomes the thinness of a leg, or the carved handle that blends into the edge of a curved door. Connection is the grain of the wood and its natural defects, reminiscent of both luxury and nature. Tying it together are bold riffs on traditional joinery, which give a piece its strength and durability, enabling it to be passed down through many generations.
Wood Options: Ebonized white oak with walnut base (pictured), ash with walnut base or walnut with walnut base.
Shade Options: Mulberry bark chips and fibers, sprinkled on cream color paper or strands of beautiful silky fiber on a off-white color paper.
All versions have brass accents.
Cord is a cloth covered wire in a gunmetal grey.
