Duende Lamp
About the Item
Designed by Twenty One Tonnes, the Duende Lamp is the work of two Oaxacan artists:
Belén Perez Garcia has won awards for her fine palm weaving. She weaves in a group of local women who harvest and process young palm leaves to produce the sage green shades, and mature palm leaves to produce the blonde shades.
Eligio Zárate Blanco is a celebrated potter from Santa María Aztompa whose craft has been passed down through generations of family. The red clay they use comes from local mountains.
Available with a green or blonde shade. Hardwired in LA with 6’ vanilla cord and brass fittings (UL listed). Standard sized E26 bulb (LED only).
Made by hand in Mexico. As with all handmade goods, please expect slight variations in color, shape and size.
