French Eagle Table Lamp in Brass, Muller Frères Style
About the Item
Art Deco desk lamp bird design, brass and brass Repoussé. France, 1920-1930s.
Solid brass desk lamp or table lamp featuring an eagle figure with a brass repoussé shade hanging from its beak.
This unique table lamp features a gorgeous cast and carved brass eagle design, it is in excellent condition with an aged patina and the eagle figure is richly decorated with exceptional details, the shade shows a detailed hand-hammered and repoussé work and hungs from the eagle's beak with tree small chains. The lamp has been rewired and carefully cleaned preserving its original patina.
Minor wear commensurate with age.
