Gilt Bronze Mounted and Chinese Celadon Lamp, circa 1600

About the Item

The porcelain ming dynasty, the bronze mounts circa 1840. The porcelain deeply carved with Chinese flowers and scrolls, the mounts with laurel leaf and entwined with ribbons, the fixed handles similarly decorated, the socle with gadroon decoration above a solid gilt bronze plinth which rests in a later gilt wood base similarly decorated with laurel leafs and berries. Height to vase 13.5".
