Glazed ceramic lamp by Raphaël Giarusso, 1960, Era Georges Pelletier Beautiful ceramic lamp, with a pinkish glaze and rosette decorations typical of Raphaël Giarusso's creations. A great friend of Georges Pelletier, he founded the Rebeval workshop with him. The two worked together on openwork ceramic lamps. The one shown here features two lights, one above the ceramic, the other inside. It's a beautiful piece. It is signed at the base. Its height is 37 cm with shade (20 cm without shade). Its diameter is 15 cm. It works with bayonet bulbs (B22).

It is a very beautiful work of glaze, soft and silky, all in delicacy. The dark clay is covered with a glaze in the white-chalk and green-water tones loved by the ceramist. The flower motifs are engraved leaving the clay visible under the clear glaze. Ochre-red tones come to warm up the whole. In very good condition.
