Large Japanese Late Edo Period Imari Vase Table Lamp

About the Item

A beautiful Japanese late Edo Period (1603 - 1868) Imari baluster form vase of large scale (18" x 13") having polychrome and gilt hand-painted floral and foliate designs on white porcelain body, the chrysanthemums in raised relief. The solid brass French-wired lamp fittings of double pull-chain swivel sockets on adjustable height stem and spun vase cap easily remove allowing the vase to be used for branches or flowers if desired. Shade is not included, however the one pictured measures 20.25" x 14" for reference.
