Wonderfull lamp table, Taccia model by Flos edition 1990s
With a Murano’ glass in 50 cm (diameter)
The Taccia lamp was designed by Italian designers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962. It combines very refined materials, such as the blown glass used for its bowl-shaped diffuser – the glass comes from Murano, an Italian island located in the lagoon from Venice and renowned for its long tradition of glassmaking – and more industrial elements, such as its extruded aluminum body, whose shape is reminiscent of a stylized gear. The result is an amazing lamp that is both classic and modern. Timeless.
