A very nice Lytegem desk lamp in off-white with spherical metal shade, cube base and chrome arm designed by Michael Lax for Lightolier, circa 2000. The lamp was named by the late Industrial designer Jay Doblin as one of the 20th century's hundred great product designs. The Lytegem emits localized light for reading and other tasks and features a telescoping neck that adjusts from 8.5" inches to 14.5" with a head that swivels 360°, anchored by a cube base.
