Lorenzo Burchiellaro, table or floor lamp, aluminium, Italy, 1970s
Sculptural and large lamp by Lorenzo Burchiellaro. Four triangular, bent aluminum sheets form a dynamic body to this lamp design. Each sheet is hiding one lightbulb, creating a soft light partition once the light is switched on. The sheets lean on their sharp corners, adding to the vivid appearance of the piece. The outside of the aluminum shows a geometric pattern of shapes. All together this is an interesting and moody piece of lighting. Due to the size of this lamp, it is suitable to use as a floor lamp too.
