About the Item
The M_014 Table Lamp is hand carved from a beautiful block of Calacatta Viola marble. It's brutalist design is both sculptural and powerful. It is powered by a warm 2700k led strip which is hidden in the cap of the lamp.
NYC-based design studio Monolith focuses on collectible furniture and homeware by exalting natural beauty through heavy constructions and clean shapes. The studios debut collection "Sanctuary" takes form via nine designs that comprise of chairs, tables and more crafted from stone and wood. Specifically, the collection utilizes locally sourced Jalapa Travertine, White Oak, Recinto Negro and Walnut. The pieces’ natural materials are enhanced by curved and straight-edge modular designs that convey of sense of contemporary refinement.

Monolith is a design studio and gallery featuring a collection of monolithic furniture and objects. Each minimalist piece uses purity of lines and heavy proportions to reveal the natural beauty and sophistication of each material.
