Highly organic, the Majorelle collection by Margarida Pereira evokes flowers of an imaginary garden. Informed by textures found in nature, the collection features a dappled surface made from resin soaked foam. Each of the six models is meticulously handmade and available in any of the Majorelle signature 4 shades, and one special combination per model.
Dooq is a design company dedicated to celebrate the luxury of living. Creating designs that stimulate the senses, whose conceptual approach is inspired on the unexpected meeting of opposite things.
Our studio focuses on an extensive research of details together with a vast iconographic research around art and design, creating an ever-evolving language that emphasises first the small things.
We seek to find balance in things that are contrasting, creating pieces where feminine meets masculine, small meets large, soft meets solid and past meets the present allowing the new to blossom.
Sensual materials like velvet, trimmings, straw and glass are combined with harder materials such as copper, marble, brass and wood to achieve the duality in our studio's distinctive pieces.
Using the technological expertise of a country leader in craftsmanship in combination with the creativity of great designers, helps creating pieces with an uncensored aesthetic where each piece has its own reason of existing.
Dooq is pursuing elegance with audacity and devotion, crossing the boundaries between art and design.

Galerie Philia
Galerie Philia is an international contemporary sculptural design and art gallery representing emerging and established designers and artists. The Marbro Company The company was founded by Morris Markoff and his brother, hence the name Marbro from Markoff brothers. They started the company shortly after WWII. The company was located in a 3 story brick building in the garment district of Los Angeles, just south of downtown right by the Santa Monica Freeway. During the time they ran the company, they sold almost as many antiques as they did lamps. Marbro sold their products mainly through interior designers and a few upscale furniture stores. You would not find a Marbro product in a chain furniture store or a discount store. Most of the products were built to order. A typical order from a designer or retailer took between 75 and 90 days to complete. Most of the components that made up the lamp bodies (ceramic, brass, glass, etc) were purchased from small companies around the world. In the later years almost all of the brass came from India. For the most part, none of the bodies were made on site. Marbro was well-known for importing a variety of unique lighting components from all over the world.
