About the Item
These original 1930s Art Deco torchiere table or floor lamps boast a trumpet-shaped chromed metal design atop a sturdy Macassar wood base connected by a lucite floral extension design. It’s recently rewired and ready for immediate use, offering versatile lighting options such as an accent light, white light, or mood-setting illumination. It could be used as pictured, under a console, or to add light to wash a wall. It also looks great on a stand or buffet.
These lights do not come around often, especially in a matching pair. The metal top is fluted, accommodating a Single Edison screw socket for a standard-size lightbulb, flood light, or spotlight. Depending upon whether you intend to place it on a pedestal or the floor for gracious uplighting, many uses are available to the new owner.
