Mid 20th century Italian tole lamp with original shade.
Fine Italian tole column form table lamp in a warm ochre hue. It is intricately painted with a tranquil pastoral scene with animals, figures, a farmhouse, fence and elements of nature. The shade features leaf and floral scroll detail with elegant brass trim.
It is in very good condition and works perfectly. The base is 5.75 inches in diameter.
A stately and delightfully charming lamp which will bring a soothing glow to any space. It would pair beautifully with many interiors, especially French country style.
