Beautiful table lamp base from the pottery workshop La Borne.
It is made of glazed stoneware typical of La Borne production, the base is signed Baudart.
Simple and yet very elegant, this beautiful lamp base features beautiful stoneware work and a very shiny glaze that is pleasant to the touch.
It is in very good condition.

Dominique Baudart collaborated with Jean Rivier in the 1950s, then with Jean Claude Malarmey and Perot, in the Old Mill workshop.
The La Borne workshops still host renowned ceramists such as Claude Champy, Eric Astoul etc. The works presented range from traditional ceramics to contemporary experiments and design.
