Absolutely Gorgeous! Mid Century Articulating Swing Arm Reflecting Saucer Desk/Table Lamp Red & Cream Enamel Great vintage condition! 16" Tall by 20" Deep Here is a wonderful mid century modern swing arm lamp that really "pops"! A clean design that emphasizes ergonomics and a minimalist aesthetic! Arm swings permitting a reflecting saucer to provide light downwards towards a desk or table. These lamps were very popular with bankers, jewelers, students and anyone who needed good light without glare. This is an uncommonly nice example and presents beautifully and it has shrugged off the 70 years since its manufacture date! This lamp is extremely well manufactured to industrial quality standards. A splendid addition to your NY penthouse, Palm Springs atomic ranch or West Palm Beach estate!

RARE MCM ICON! MOSS FIBERGLASS REFLECTOR SHADE AND CONE TABLE LAMP! (APPROX. 17" TALL By 15" WIDE ) Here is the famous MOSS fiberglass lamp with a cone and reflector design. It is one of the most coveted MOSS lamps for its comparative restraint and timeless design! This reflector lamp is the epitome of modern illumination thought circa 1945-1955! Designers were experimenting with ways to create *indirect lighting* because studies illustrated this was better for the eyes. The MOMA Lighting Design competition of 1951 would almost exclusively showcase designs that were based on reflection technology. This beautiful lamp features a sweeping brushed brass neck and articulating fiberglass shade reflector. The black enameled cone is complemented by a matching black decorative trim on the base.
