Mid Century Rotoflex Table Lamp by Heifetz for Heifitz Manufacturing USA c 1950s

About the Item

Extremely rare Mid Century table lamp, designed by Yasha Heifetz, for Heifetz Manufacturing USA c 1950's. The lamp features an oblong plastic rotoflex shade, which is supported by a sculptural wood base, and wood disk form base. Rotoflex table lamps are hard to find, this is the largest one we've seen ( 35 in. H " ). The lamp is in very good, original, clean and working condition, showing only light signs of age and use, specific condition report to follow. The top of the shade shows inconsequential loss to the finish rim, the wood base shows minor cosmetic wear to its finish, normal and consistent with age. The lamp has it's original pull chain on off switch, and an in line on off switch, probably not original, both are working - please see images. The lamp accepts a standard size screw in bulb, low wattage bulb strongly recommended, you do not want to melt or burn the shade.
