Midcentury Modern Koch & Lowy Style Chrome Articulating Desk Lamp
About the Item
An elegant midcentury desk lamp in polished chrome in the style of Koch & Lowy; the tent shade articulates on a ball and socket and further adjusts on a swing-arm.
Lovely true vintage piece. No markings except the patent in the swivel joint which dates it to the 1950s to 1970s. (Patent No. 2729473, 1956 to Irving Warshawsky.)
There is a cast iron weight in the base; weighs 11 lbs.
Very good vintage condition. Some scuffs to finish but nothing major. No dents. Paint loss to underside of shade. Working condition with original wiring. Light bulb included.
