About the Item
Céladon lacquered beech lamp with a turned legs in six-sided and brushed satin brass square ring handle.
It is a piece of furniture made by hand by the craftsmen of Moissonnier, French cabinetmaker since 1885. Our craftsmen use ancestral know-how and have developed a unique patina that gives the furniture a very special aged look. The brand’s signature patina recipe is a well-kept
secret. Its effect is to mimic the passage of time, achieving a seemingly natural amount of wear. Wormholes, dents, abrasions, and all manners of wear marks are used to ‘imprint’ the stigmas of time and usage on the furniture.
