Table lamp made of bucchero and earthenware, which recalls medieval European architecture. This item brings together minimalism and postmodernism. The light radiating through the slits give this object a magical and timeless effect. It is a unique item and an example of innovative craftmanship, since the black and white colours are very uncommon for this type of traditional production It is provided with a space for the insertion of a G9 LED light bulb: it is easy to maintain and it provides the right balance of brightness. It can be replicated in different sizes or wirings, as agreed on in drawings and by paying 50% of the price in advance. Non-refundable.

Giovanni Mengoni was born in Gubbio in 1969. He has always lived in Umbria, a region located in center of Italy and bound to his ancient tradition, where the artistic methods and craftsmanship have been handed down for centuries. After his studies at the "Painting section" of the Perugia Academic Arts Institute, he has collaborated with many different ceramic artisan company, becoming a potter, mold maker and decorator. He as collaborates with artists and architects for the development and realization of their projects. For long time he has been involved in the research and innovation in the ceramic's field, studying the traditional processing methods up to their applications in the contemporary design and furniture objects. His expertise in focused in the production of Etruscan Bucchero, traditional Italian majolica and terracotta as well as stoneware and porcelain.
