Pair 1930's Gladding McBean Oxblood Red Art Pottery Bronze Mounted Table Lamps
About the Item
We are offering a pair of vintage circa late 1930's/early 1940's Gladding McBean & Co. high fired ceramic table lamps with heavy ornamental fitments of warm patinated bronze. Covered in the highly desirable "Chinese Oxblood" glaze, which was introduced in 1938. The maker discontinued all art ware in 1942. Height of the porcelain excluding fitments is 12.5, overall height from the bottom of the base to the top of the glass shade is 27.13". The widest area of the porcelain is 5.25". Sold as a set of two. Wiring should be checked by a qualified electrician prior to use as we make no warranties, expressed or implied.
