About the Item
Pair of outrageously over the top (bordering on kitsch) pair of monumental table lamps created in the early 1960's in the style of Carl Falkenstein, Marbro and Rembrandt lighting.
The ultimate in mid-century Hollywood Regency including original gold leafed drum shades with appliques and high quality construction and fittings.
Each lamp consists of a gilt cherub sitting on a platform of acanthus leaves and holding up an art glass onion shaped vessel of white striated glass applied with 24 karat polished gold foliage.
