Pair of 19th Century Continental Antique Table Lamps
About the Item
A fine pair of late 19th century Continental porcelain vases now mounted as lamps. The pistol handled vases painted on each side with an oval cartouche enclosing scenes simulating grisaille with figures amongst landscapes, with green leafy border tied to pink and gilt stylised drapery above and salmon-coloured harebells swags beneath, the waisted spreading socle raised on a square stepped base.
Height of vases: 16 in (41 cm) including gitlwood bases but excluding electrical fitments or lampshades
Base: 6 in (15 cm) square
All of our lamps can be wired for use worldwide. A selection of card, linen or silk lampshades can be supplied on request.
