Pair of Dupont Table Lamps - Contemporary Handmade Ceramic, postmodern sculpture
About the Item
One of a kind ceramic lamps, thrown on the potters wheel and assembled by hand. The lamp base is comprised of three different clay bodies and features a raw, unglazed ceramic surface to highlight the texture of natural clay. These pieces were inspired by seashells and smooth stones collected from the beach on trips to New England.
Each lamp is about 23 inches tall with linen shade, unfinished and brushed brass hardware, with a blue braided cord.

Calyer Ceramics, created by Michelle McLaughlin, makes functional art objects for the home. We aim to help others elevate their living spaces into homes they love through thoughtful design. The ceramic lamps feature honest, bold shapes inspired by forms like seashells and rock cairns. The compositions evoke a sense of balance, intending to combine a modern design sensibility with raw, natural elements. Calyer ceramics began as an independent design studio creating custom tableware. Today it has expanded to design and produce high-quality handmade lighting and accessories for the home.
