This exquisite pair of ceramic lamps, created by Marianne Starck for Michael Andersen & Son on the island of Bornholm, embodies the essence of mid-century Danish design. Each lamp bears Marianne Starck's signature, "MS," which serves as a mark of authenticity and provenance, and they are also stamped with the manufacturer's mark. Constructed from stoneware, these lamps possess a sturdy and substantial quality. Their surface features a sophisticated matte glaze, predominantly in shades of light brown and gray, complemented by subtle beige accents. The firing process used in their creation results in a distinct and individualistic glaze pattern for each lamp. This means that no two lamps are exactly alike, making them truly one-of-a-kind collectibles.
