Pair of French Late 19th Century Louis XVI Style Candelabras Mounted into Lamps
About the Item
An exquisite pair of French late 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu and white Carrara marble candelabras lamps. Each lamp is raised by a square ormolu base with fine bun feet below the socle shaped pedestal with wrap around beaded bands and cut corners. The elegant urn shaped white Carrara marble bodies have lovely ormolu branches and flowers seemingly growing out of the top with richly chased blooming flower candle cups and beautiful buds encasing the central supports. Above are the lovely and finely detailed foliate finials.
