A stunning pair of French 19th century Neo-Classical Period Louis XIV st. Ormolu and Baccarat crystal candelabras lamps. Each six arm candelabra is raised on a triangular base with three delicately tapered fluted feet below exceptional richly chased sphinges with acanthus leaves centering beautiful draped reserves, all in a superb satin and burnished finish. The mottled central support displays finely detailed wrap around berried laurel garlands and an elegantly curved design from where the scrolled arms branch out. Each arm is adorned with finely detailed acanthus leaves, with teardrop and star shaped rosette crystal pendants leading to subtle rock crystal bobeches with charming candle cups.
