AMA - Table lamp
Ama , comes from the Catalan '' a mà '', which means '' handmade '', and it is how this contemporary lamp is made. With hand-turned beech wood, solid brass details, and hand-woven lampshade in natural rattan.
Mediterranean, simple, elegant.
Designed by Chitarrini Studio in Barcelona, and inspired by the atmospheres of Mediterranean houses, by the great architects of the 20th century.
It is a tribute to local craftsmanship.
TABLE LAMP:
LAMPSHADE:
The Amà table lamp, features a shade of ø 30 cm (ø 11.8''), and 22 cm (8.7'') high. With its dome shape, it is hand-woven in our workshops with natural rattan. After weaving, the lampshade is protected with a layer of colourless varnish to better withstand humid conditions. Likewise, it is a lamp suitable for indoor use only.
LIGHT:
Inside, it has a double lamp holder, with room for two E-27 or E-26 bulbs. It is recommended to use LED filament bulbs, warm colour of light. It provides a dim light that is very pleasing to the eye, which highlights the natural details of the rattan of the lampshade. It is switched on with a handle located inside the lampshade.
STRUCTURE:
It has a continuous vertical upright, which enters into the rattan shade. Its materiality combines polished brass and colourless varnished beech wood, highlighting the natural beauty of each material. The precision with which the union between these two materials is made, makes that there is total continuity in the foot of the lamp.
POSITION:
It can be placed on tables, shelves, or at ground level.
