Pair of Italian Classical Style Carved Wooden Fragments Made into Table Lamps
About the Item
A pair of Italian Classical style carved and painted wooden column fragments from the 19th century depicting spiraling foliage and Corinthian style base, transformed into modern table lamps mounted on lucite bases. Created in Italy during the 19th century, each of this pair of Classical style fragments features a thin painted column with faint traces of gilding, adorned with spiraling foliage carved in low-relief. They are each raised on a tall Corinthian style base showing great age. These fragments have been transformed into table lamps that have been professionally wired for the US and are ready to be plugged. They measure 26 inches of height to the top of their sockets. Mounted on square shaped lucite bases providing greater stability, this pair of Italian Classical style 19th century column fragments made into table lamps will make for a great addition to any home, particularly placed on a console table, a credenza or a pair of bedside tables.
