A Scavo technique aquamarine-green color glass vase mounted as circular table lamp, made in Murano, near Venice, Italy, circa 1980s. The Scavo finished glass, hand blown in a beautiful aquamarine green tone and black details, offers an elegant Amphora shape and shows an extraordinary craftsmanship with the use of the so-called Scavo or corroso technique. Scavo literally means excavation glass, for the particular finish alike to the antique Roman glass brought to light from excavation. Listed sizes and price are relative to lamp base only, lampshade is for imaging only.
