Perfume Lamp Attributed to Carl Scheidig/Gräfenthal, Germany, 1930s

About the Item

Perfume lamp in the form of a Bird attributed to Carl Scheidig Grafenthal, Germany. Made from glazed porcelain. Electrical parts European standards with an inner light bulb (standard E 14) to give a warm and comforting night light. The light also shines through the glass eyes. The Bird was a much-loved motif of the Art Deco period, and these friendly figurines are perfect for a child's bedroom. A drop of perfume or essential oil onto the plate on the rear will warm against the bulb and aided by the rising air-currents from the lamp, and perforated sides, will slowly perfume the room. Excellent condition, the lamp is in full working order. And safe for usage in the World. Germany, 1930s, excellent condition This lamp is in very good, clean and undamaged condition. Has large Green glass eyes.
