About the Item
Extremely rare German Bauhaus table lamp 'Piccolo' with adjustable height, arm and shade. Designed by Christian Dell for Bünte & Remmler (BuR), 1930s, Germany.
Makers mark beneath the base: Piccolo BuR 3244.
Executed in dark brown enameled and partly nickel-plated brass, aluminium and cast iron, the lamp needs 1 x E14 / E12 Edison screw fit bulb, is wired and in working condition. It runs both on 110 / 230 volt. On/Off switch at the shade.
Good original condition. Wear consistent with use and age.
