Rare Modernism Art Deco Table Lamp Silver Crackle Glass White Chrome France 1930
About the Item
Rare Modernism Art Deco table lamp in thick silver mirrored glass with crackle effect finish which can be dated France, circa 1930s. It has a silver enameled metal fixture and a black plastic fitting for one E 27 screw bulb to illuminate. Wiring, switch and plastic fixture have been replaced, so the lamp is fine working and ready to use. The beautiful lamp base which is 30 cm / 11.81 inches tall and which has a width of 17 cm / 6.69 inches comes with a new white lamp shade with chic and elegant chrome details to the rim. The total height of the table lamp which stays in very good condition with minor characteristic wear consistent with age and use is 45 cm / 17.72 inches and it has a width of 40 cm / 15.75 inches. The shape of the lamp is exciting simple, beautiful and modern. It would perfectly fit in an Art Deco, Bauhaus and as well as in a Space Age interior.
