Rare Pair of Barovier and Toso Tall Torchere Lamps with Gold Aventurine
About the Item
This hugely scaled pair of Barovier and Toso attributed hand blown torchere lamps are extremely hard to find. They differ ever so slightly in scale but to my eye that makes them even more attractive.
Karl Lagerfeld owned a nearly identical one that was sold at Christies in 2001. In 30 years of selling antiques I have seen this form not more than 3 times. Truly, a rare find.
