Aesthetically perfect and very rare Art Deco style alabaster table lamp. In recent years we have become known for offering the rarest and most beautiful alabaster light fixtures that your well earned money can buy. This stunning, two-piece, circular design alabaster table lamp certainly is among the very rarest. To have found one of these extremely rare, moon-like alabaster lamps already felt like a blessing, but it also happens that these large on-top-of-each-other shades both have the same amazing patterns. The white and near translucent patches (or clouds) truly create some of the most wonderful patterns that you will ever see. And they do so both with the light switched on and off. In fact, these probably are two of the best ever alabaster shades when it comes to how many and how perfectly spread these patches are and they create patterns and shades that only Mother Nature is capable of creating. These large and thick alabaster halves, with the stunning hand-carved decoration all around the middle, actually ring like large gongs when you strike them. That is how strong and structurally sound they are. Even if we shot a hundred photos, you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this lunar-like and impressive lamp. The perfect base of this timeless alabaster lamp is like the 'icing below the cake' of this midcentury made work of lighting art. This very rare and stunning lamp is professionally rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and it will easily take a 120 watt bulb. For our photos we used a 100 watt bulb. It will luminate this 'lunar light' from perfectly in the center and to prevent this bright 'moon' from overheating on the inside, the makers created a hole in the middle, on top. We expect this wow-factor table or floor lamp (again) to go to one of our respected interior designer clients, but we would not be surprised if a private buyer will see its potential and decide to go for it sooner.
