About the Item
A very beautiful and elegant table lamp model. 407024, manufactured by PSO in Finland in the 1950s. This lamp depicts everything that makes Finnish mid-century lighting so internationally sought after. The design is simple, elegant and functional. There is not much to explore within this lamp, yet it lacks nothing. It has everything you need. A perforated brass shade, brass leg with a teak handle and a brass base with manufacturers stamps on the bottom. And the item is in flawless condition and has a nice vintage patina.
Pohjoismainen Sähkö-Osakeyhtiö or simply PSO, was a Finnish electric company in the 20th century. The company is perhaps more well known in Finland for their own record label, than as lihting manufacturers. But PSO did infact start out producing lights, phones, radios, fuses and other electrical equipment.
