Unique Marian Zawasdki pair of ceramic lamps, each lamp has a different hand made décor. Produced by Tilgmans 1950
Height 33 cm, 66 cm with a lampshade. Very good condition, electrification not tested.
This striking work of Swedish mid-century Modernist design by Marian Zawadzki (1912-1978) who was a professor and later, artist and ceramist for Tilgmans Keramik of Gothenburg, Sweden. Zawadzki's experimentation of the Sgraffito technique brought great popularity and appreciation for Tilgman's ceramics and his work became exemplary for Tilgmans.
