About the Item

Tall table light by unspecified designer for Knabstrup Keramik in the 1960s - absolutely gorgeous burgundy ceramic lamp stand with vintage shade included, all in excellent vintage condition. A beautiful tall ceramic lamp-stand with a short slightly barrel shaped body and a long neck ending in a small brass piece on top, all covered with a warm deep burgundy colored glossy glaze. The warmth of the burgundy and the brass top gives this lamp stand a subtle and very stylish expression. Underneath hallmarked with the Knabstrup logo. The shade shown in the photos is not original to the lamp stand, but the cream-white color has a note of pale rose in the color and complement the deep burgundy glaze. A super attractive table lamp that would fit in anywhere in the modern home - in the living room, in the bedroom or even in the hallway. The subtle colors and the elegant shape give this piece lots of personality and charm. Wonderful vintage piece in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of usage and age - no chips or cracks, minimal fading of color - the cream-white shade is in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of usage and age. Please see the photos! All original, but rewired 1.15 m (3' 9.3") plastic cord with Euro style plug, which is easily changed to your specific plug. Tested and fully functional.
