of bronze kirin and phoenix vases
by Japanese artist Izumi Seijo, Meiji period.
Hand painted silk shades
after a Katsushika Hokusai “Poppies in the Wind”
and detail of “Mallow plants” by Yamamoto Baiitsu.
Overall, 26 1/2 in. (67.3 cm.) high.
Vases only, 13 1/2 in.(34.2 cm.) high.
Diameter at it’s widest, 8 in.(20.2 cm).
