1920s French Mantle Mirror with Original Wooden Patina
About the Item
Lovingly handcrafted in France circa 1920, this wooden mirror embodies the aesthetics of the famous Henri II style. The swan-neck pediment with an urn in the center is decorated with leaf ribbons.The top shelf boasts an arch with two baluster columns, geometric glass inlays and elaborate ornamentation are echoed on the side panels. The shelves, adorned with masterfully carved pilasters and urn-finials, convey the impression of an enchanted palace from an old fairytale.
