English Regency Overmantel Tripartite Mirror with Barley Twist Columns and Stars

About the Item

English Regency giltwood overmantel mirror in tripartite form with barley twist columns. The frieze is a series of repeating stars within circles under a bold cornice. The cornice, frieze and columns give this handsome mirror an architectural persona. It has been regilded within the last 20 years. circa 1820. Measures: 47" wide x 25 1/4" high.
